Just curious: Did anyone count the number of known nationalities visiting Mommsenstadion during a season? Not that nationality matters at all, but it IS perhaps a selling pitch during economic hard times: How come people from rather dispersed localities, within Berlin (Friedrichshain and other former Ost-parts) and from around the globe, go on a pilgrimage to a club that is actually now in the German 5th division??? Coolness, of course. Pure and sheer coolness! Perhaps, we give nada for the division and simply love the club. However, we of course love results and wish for higher Bundesligafussball but still...TeBe is da shit!!!
I know that the first time Svenska Bäverhyddan/Verstehe fast nix crew/SchwedenTeBe went there, we had surprised but pleased comments at E-block: "Aw, shit! Two weeks ago we had 7 guys from Copenhagen here" The Israeli films on youtube are obvious tokens of the Levant TeBe love (and a historic legacy...love those ones!) So? Since I´ve experienced it as instant and friendly Stimmung at Mommsen, maybe someone counted? Selling point? / P af Skum, Schtåkålm, Schweden
