The manager German Dennis Kutrieb is set to be the only overseas manager in the National League next season as he heads into his fourth season in charge of Ebbsfleet.

It was an eye-catching appointment at the time, but the decision has certainly been vindicated for both parties.

The 43-year-old was previously in charge of fifth-tier German outfit Tennis Borussia Berlin, who he led to the Berlin Cup final and were consistently around the top of their division.

He also enjoyed a playing career in the German lower leagues, appearing in an attacking role for the likes of BFC Hühnerhof, Rot Weiß Oberhausen and Ludwigsfelder FC.
