By a concealed meeting the presidium of our club Motor Eberswalde has decided a fusion with the regional rival FSV Bernau. This should run under conditions which amount to a complete surrender of Eberswalder side. All men games will be play in Bernau, also the major youth teams, only 4 children teams will stay in our city. This farce should be named with artificial name "FC Barnim", which is another kind to call it Bernau FC in fact. Very sad news indeed. What will happen to the beautiful and quite unique stadium? I have very fond memories of the ground, the swimming pool, friendly atmosphere, cheap beer, S-Bahn station stand etc. I had always hoped that TeBe would play there again one day... Sorry.
