Throughout the period of the current cease-fire, Hamas has been systematically dismantling its own side’s propaganda. The claim of Israeli “genocide” was always false, but Gaza officials acknowledging that the enclave’s population increased during the war, and that Israeli bombs were mostly dropped on uninhabited neighborhoods, and that Hamas had been using hospitals and humanitarian zones as active war bases made it clear that Israel’s defenders were telling the truth and Hamas’s fans were lying all along.

Then on Saturday Hamas released a propaganda video showing its men keeping Sharabi, Or Levy, and Ohad Ben Ami in a claustrophobic, airless underground cell. We’ve seen Hamasniks driving a fleet of well-maintained vehicles through Gaza and past its gleaming buildings.

At the release ceremony itself, the viewing public was treated to watching well-fed Gazans taking selfies while the gaunt hostages could barely stand. We had already known that Israel had allowed into Gaza enough food for each Palestinian to have 3,000 calories per day. But now we were seeing proof that full-bellied Gazans had been spending the war guarding starving Israeli hostages.

Every claim made against Israel was projection. Hamas had been doing all the things it accused Israel of, accusations that the media gleefully echoed like pet-shop parrots.

As someone who is coming from a country where 99.9% of the Jewish population was transported to Treblinka never to come back (the transport camp was a couple hundred meters from my family's home - today it's a memorial site), I feel no inhibition to tell you you are bloody hypocrites.

Israel is meticulously performing a pogrom and a genocide as we speak. It's the worst possible disservice to Jewish folk, ever.

For how much longer can you look at yourselves in the mirror? Fucking condemn it already, you ball-less, two-faced muppets.

How are you different from that L47 "fan" shouting abuse at your dead friend at half time, I ask myself? In fact, you are much more insidious - having the audacity to criticize a banner at a football match unfurled while children are being slaughtered en masse day after day, month after month.

They're just not the children you care about, are they?

1. Halte dich bitte an den Disclaimer und verzichte auf Beleidigungen. Das gilt auch Leuten gegenüber, denen du unterstellst, "Befürworter eines Genozids" zu sein.

2. Spar dir bitte völlig aberwitzige Quervergleiche, die nichts zur Sache tun und nur triggern sollen.

3. Was ich wo verdamme und was nicht, davon hast du erstens keine Ahnung, und zweitens hast du mir das auch nicht zu befehlen. Genauso wenig wie ich dir befehlen werde, die Verantwortlichen für Vertreibung, Hunger und unfassbares millionenfaches Leid im Sudan, Jemen, Kongo oder in Burkina Faso zu verdammen. Oder dir unterstelle, das Schicksal der dortigen Kinder sei dir egal, nur weil ich kein Statement von dir zu deren Leid kenne.

4. Du hast dich letztlich nur wegen eines einzigen Themas hier registriert. Das ist legitim, Trollen jedoch nicht. Jeder und jedem steht es frei, den Umgang Israels mit denen zu kritisieren, die es auslöschen wollen. Dämonisierung, Deligitimierung und Doppelstandards jedoch haben hier keinen Platz. TeBe hat die IHRA-Definition angenommen, deren Standards werden auch durch die aktive Fanszene getragen, und sie gelten auch hier.

5. Wie übrigens auch beim FC St. Pauli, wo oben erwähntes Banner auf massive Kritik zahlreicher Mitglieder und Fans gestoßen und weiterhin Diskussionsgegenstand ist.

Wenn du hier Diskussionspartner finden willst (die meisten, die sich früher rege daran beteiligt haben, sind allerdings kaum noch hier), dann ersetze das Geflame und die Beleidigungen durch einen zivilisierten Ton. Ich kann mich erinnern, dass Accounts schon für deutlich weniger gesperrt wurden.
